Fibre optic starlight ceilings, designed and installed by Streamlight. Hundreds of individual points of light set into a ceiling, with no heat, no electricity and no maintenance at the fitting itself.
Light is generated by a single remote source and carried to the ceiling through fibre. Because only light travels through the fibre, the visible points carry no heat and no current — which is what makes the effect safe in bedrooms, bathrooms, spas and above beds.
Servicing happens at the light source, not in the ceiling. Once installed, the ceiling itself is left alone.
Bedrooms — the most requested application, and the reason most people find this page.
Spas and wellness — low, calm light with no glare and no heat above treatment beds.
Cinema and media rooms — ambient light that does not wash out a screen.
Hospitality — suites, wellness areas and feature ceilings where the effect becomes part of the offer.
Pools and wet areas — no electricity at the point of light.
Streamlight supplies and installs. We work from the ceiling build-up and the effect you want, specify the source and fibre accordingly, and coordinate with your ceiling contractor so the installation happens at the right point in the programme.
Best results come from being involved before the ceiling closes. If you are still at drawing stage, that is the ideal time to talk to us.
